• Sunny but not as warm: Looks like it will be another nice day today, just not as warm as yesterday. According to the National Weather Service we can expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 45 degrees. It will also be breezy, with wind gusts up to 25 mph. A chance of snow showers tonight and otherwise partly cloudy with a low around 23. 

• Music trivia: The Burlington Education Foundation is hosting a at the Woburn Sons of Italy, 168 Lexington St., Woburn, at 7 p.m. this evening. Team of four to 10 can compete for prizes as they support Burlington students. Cost is $150 per team. • Easter Bunny visits: The to the . From now until April 7, children can visit and get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.  

• Movie night: The Burlington Church of Christ is hosting a Kids Movie Night from 6 to 8 p.m. The church will show the Christmas related Veggie Tales movie, The Little Drummer Boy. In addition to the movie, they will have a meal as well as crafts and activities and balloon animals for the children. 

• In a Barbie world: On this day in 1959, the first Barbie doll went on display at the American Toy Fair in New York City.  Modeled after a German comic strip character named Lilli, the doll was originally intended as a gag gift for adult men to purchase in tobacco shops. But the doll quickly became popular with children and was purchased by Mattel and marketed to kids. Barbie has been controversial over the years, but more than 800 million dolls have sold—certifying Barbie's status as an icon.
