The children summer reading event begins at 11 a.m. and will feature music with the Toe Jam Puppet Band and include face-painting and other activities. The teen summer reading event (grades 6 to 12) begins at 3:30 p.m. and will have snacks and games. No registration required.

• Toastmasters: There is a session of the "Last Word Toastmasters Club" at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the .
