5 Things: Voter Registration Deadline, Lego Club and Storytimes

Today is Tuesday, Oct. 16. Here are 5 things you need to know:

  • Cloudy: Not much more to say than that. According to the National Weather Service we'll see increasingly cloudy skies through the day today. High temperature near 62 degrees. Partly cloudy tonight with a low around 49. 
  • Register to vote: Today is the deadline to register to vote for the Nov. 6 election. Residents can register at the Town Clerk's office in Town Hall. Click here for more information.
  • Lego Club: The Burlington Public Library is hosting a Lego Club for children in grades K to 6 at 3:45 p.m. this afternoon. They supply the Legos, you bring your imagination.
  • Storytimes: The Burlington Public Library has two storytimes planned for today. The first is Toddler Storytime for children 18 to 36 months at 10:30 a.m. followed by  Preschool Storytime for children 3 to 6 at 11 a.m.
  • Facebook showdown: Burlington Patch is taking on Lexington Patch in a Facebook "like" showdown. We are looking to see who can get more likes between now and Nov. 21 (day before the Burlington/Lexington Thanksgiving Day game). Help us beat Lexington by liking our Facebook page today.
