Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that a new modern barbecue concept, SlowBones is opening soon at Burlington Marketplace, 68 Burlington Mall Rd. in Burlington, Massachusetts.
SlowBones is a new concept from the founder and former owner of Boston Chicken (now known as Boston Market), Kip Kolow. Burlington Marketplace will be SlowBones’ first location. The fast-casual restaurant will serve St. Louis Barbecue Ribs, Grilled Chicken, Pulled Pork, BBQ Braised Brisket, Flame Grilled Shrimp Burger, etc, along with a variety of side dishes and more. Sandwiches will be available on soft Brioche rolls, as well as both lettuce wraps for a carb-free option, and naan wraps. There will also be fresh signature salads, quinoa dishes and gluten-free bread items including cornbread and house baked goods.
The 1,630 square foot restaurant is replacing D’Angelo at Burlington Marketplace and will be next to Starbucks. Burlington Marketplace is located across from the Burlington Mall, the Lahey Clinic and the New England Executive Office Park. The center is fully leased.
