Westford's cosmetic laser related products business Cynosure wants to bring 200 jobs to Westford that are currently in Burlington.

According to a story on Westford Patch, Cynosure Executive Vice President Timothy Baker was before the Board of Selectmen on Tuesday asking them to pursue a Tax Increment Financing, or TIF District, to aid in expanding their campus near the corner of Littleton and Concord roads.

The company is one of the world’s leaders in cosmetic laser related products and has been acquiring related companies in the field over the past few years and is hoping to use the TIF funding to facilitate making room for employees from one of those acquired companies, Palomar of Burlington. Palomar is located at 15 Network Drive.
