About Spike's and Stack-A Burger:
Spike's is a quick service franchise restaurant concept, based in Cranston, Rhode Island. Spike's has created a successful new format for hot dog aficionados that is very fresh, fun and highly appealing to an enormously wide market. All the hot dogs, rolls, house mustard and root beer are made exclusively to the restaurant's specifications. The theme of the restaurant is a clean “Junkyard” decorated with bright colors, stainless steel and automotive memorabilia.
Also at this location, Spike's is introducing its new co-brand Stack-A Burger, designed to compliment Spike's famous hot dogs with an offering of Char Broiled Black Angus burgers. For the Burlington Mall shopper the Stack-A Burger lives up to its name by giving the customer a choice of stacking up their choice of burger styles with one, two, three or more of the grilled two ounce patties. Most kids like the single patty and most folks go for the regular two patties totaling four ounces of Angus beef. There has already been orders for stacks of ten, twelve and sixteen patties (two pounds!). Photos of the mega-eaters and their meals have been posted.
