'Signs' of Progress at Burlington Wegmans Location
Progress continues at 3rd Ave. Burlington, where there will be a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
Progress is evident at the site of 3rd Ave. Burlington. And at Wegmans, there are clear signs of that progress.
The supermarket chain, which recently began expanding to Massachusetts when it opened a Northborough location, continued construction as it recently added signs to its Burlington storefront.
3rd Ave. Burlington shared a photo of the sign additions recently on its Facebook page, continuing to provide residents with an inside look at the store.
In May, the group posted a photo to its Facebook page that was a sneak peak of 200-plus seat mezzanine that is above the Market Cafe at Wegmans.
According to the 3rd Ave. website, Wedmans anticipates a fall opening, while other businesses in the development have already opened.
In March, Cambridge Savings Bank opened its 3rd Ave. location, while The Bancroft, a new steakhouse in Burlington, opened its doors at the end of May.
