Newbury Comics Moving to Smaller Store Inside Burlington Mall

They're not going far. But Newbury Comics is on the move.

Newbury Comics Burlington announced on its Facebook page over the weekend that it will be moving from Burlington Mall Road to the Burlington Mall in the near future.

"We here at Newbury Comics - Burlington Store are super-excited to announce we will soon be moving into the Burlington Mall! Be sure to Like this page or sign up for our email newsletter for further updates as they come!," the business wrote in a post that was signed from "Ehab, Cilla, & the Burlington crew."

Representatives from the store interacted with several customers in comments on the Facebook page.

In the comments, employees said that the new location will be a few doors down from Lord & Taylor in the mall, and added that the store's floor space will be slightly smaller than its current location.

The store will follow mall hours, beaning it will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Not all customers are excited by the news. Several commenters wrote that they are upset to see the store moving inside the busy mall.

"Another great store gone into the black hole of malls," wrote Fred J. Robertson. "Sad to see this happen, the mall stores don't even come close to the greatness of their predecessors on the fringe. which is to say, they're really no longer music stores when they move to malls and my chances of visiting one with any regularity dwindle to almost never - love you guys, but gotta say it."
