Microsoft Store Opening at the Burlington Mall With Concert Featuring Demi Lovato

There will be a ribbon cutting on Thursday and a concert on Saturday to celebrate the grand opening.

There will be a new technology store at the Burlington Mall and it is coming in with quite a bit of fanfare. 

A Microsoft retail store is opening at the Burlington Mall this Thursday, Sept. 19. The Grand Opening ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m., a release states. 

"To help celebrate the grand opening, we’re inviting local residents to join us on Saturday, September 21 as the Microsoft retail store presents a special performance by Demi Lovato near Microsoft in the Burlington Mall," the release continues. "The gates open for the concert at 12 p.m."

Also, the first 200 people in line for the Microsoft opening on will receive two free premier viewing tickets for the Demi Lovato performance. One ticket grants the recipient admission to both the performance and the meet and greet with Demi Lovato before the show. The second ticket grants another person admission to the concert only. Additionally, a limited number of guests will receive two premier viewing tickets to the Demi Lovato performance. 

Lovato fans can begin lining up at 10 p.m. on Wednesday if they choose at the mall entrance near Johnny Rockets.

The company will also be making a donation during the ribbon cutting ceremony. 

"As a part of the Microsoft retail store’s ongoing commitment to the local community, the Microsoft retail store will be making software donations to local community organizations during the ribbon cutting ceremony," the release states. 

Items at Microsoft stores include: 

  • A curated assortment of products, including Surface, Windows 8 PCs, Windows Phones, Kinect for Xbox 360, Office products, and more.
  • A range of tech trainings, business-ready PCs, phones and more.  
  • Community organizations regularly host events in the theater space and store associates are out in the community supporting local causes.
