Michael's Preparing for Burlington Grand Opening

The arts and crafts retailer will open a location on Cambridge Street.

Michael's is preparing for an August grand opening of its Burlington location, which will be located at 34 Cambridge Street.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for August 3 at 9:45 a.m. During the celebration, Michael's will give away over $1,000 in gift cards in addition to other prizes every hour throughout the day.

Customers can also win items from a plinko prize board. Prizes will include jewelry, art supplies, stickers and more.

Throughout the ensuing week, there will be free in-store craft demonstrations from 6-8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The store new Burlington Michael's will be 28,222 square feet and will employ more than 60 people.

“We are thrilled to be joining the Burlington community and we hope everyone will come out to help us celebrate during our grand opening week,” said District Manager Brett Ramsdell. “Our new store features thousands of products, plus an updated schedule of classes, that will inspire every crafter at any level from beginner to expert.”

Uhhhhhhhh, micheals has been in Burlington for many years. Is this a new location or remodeled old location?

New location - same plaza - going in beside Roche Bros. where shoe store was.

Famous footwear in Chelmsford off RT 3. Look for old Wang tower exit...cinema, other side of hwy...eat at feng sei!
