Have You Tried Burlington's Newest Indian Restaurant?

The Bombay Club opened earlier this month in the former The Mughals location on Cambridge Street.

Burlington newest Indian restaurant opened earlier this month and we'd like to know what people think of the new establishment.

The Bombay Club, which was previously located in Harvard Square, opened its doors in Burlington in early October at 184 Cambridge Street. The restaurant owner, Vinod Kapoor, said he was keeping the menu and food the same as it was when it was in Cambridge, according to a story on IndianNewEngland.com.

According to the restaurant's Facebook page description and the IndianNewEngland story, the aim of the owner is to provide high-quality authentic Indian food. Kapoor said he has brought in chefs from around India.

"Share our love for the many delicious foods of our homeland in a setting that is neighborhood-friendly and casual, yet sophisticated. Our cuisine, from many regions of India, is authentic, made from scratch, and very fresh," the description on the restaurant's Facebook states.

Bombay Club has a large menu with a variety of options. There is also a lunch buffet. Check out the restaurant's menu here

Thus far the restaurant has one Yelp review and in it Bombay Club earned four stars from reviewer H.P. The reviewer raved about the food and its authenticity and said the review would have been five stars except that the price point for entrees was in the around $15 and the reviewer said he or she thought that was too high.

"Boy, was I impressed," H.P. said in the review. "It was very authentic, and I love, love, love the fact that they didn't add sugar or cream to anything, which is a typical gimmick that Indian restauranteurs do to win over non-Indian people."
