The Burlington Planning Board recently approved the plan for the 240-seat restaurant. Abbodanza will have 6,000 square feet of space, according to the Daily Times Chronicle.

Todd Fremont-Smith, Senior Vice President of Development for the Nordblom Company, said about Abbodanza:

“It is a chef-driven concept… With all these restaurants (on 3rd Ave.), we are looking for authenticity and a broad spectrum of menus, which Abbodanza provides," reported the Daily Times Chronicle.

The Bancroft and Kings are planning spring openings, Tony C’s and Abbodanza are planning summer openings and Wegmans is slated for a fall opening.
