Burtons Grill Opens with Gift to People Helping People (Images)

Burtons Grill, the New England based restaurant group, previously with six locations in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Virginia and New Hampshire opened their seventh location at the Middlesex Commons in Burlington on Dec. 12.

The new restaurant celebrated its holiday season opening by giving back to the community by donating 25 percent of all food sales on opening day to People Helping People, Inc. a non-profit, volunteer Burlington support program consisting of three existing groups: the Burlington Community Pantry, the Burlington Covenant for Basic Needs and the Holiday Program, which includes the .

“With our Nashua, New Hampshire location opening just four months ago, we’re enthusiastic to see this kind of growth. When we enter a new marketplace we strive to become part of the fabric of the community in which we operate," said Kevin Harron, CEO of Burtons Grill in a release. "This means beyond employing people in the community, that we’re committed to working with our core customers, their associations, groups, schools and the charities that are important to them. We couldn’t be happier to be opening in Burlington, Massachusetts and we’re looking forward to serving and growing our customer base here." 

Designed by Peter Niemitz and set in rich color tones, the atmosphere is a backdrop for the upscale-casual concept specializing in seasonally inspired, ingredient-driven contemporary American cuisine that Burtons Grill has become so well known for.

The new location is a 216 seat, full service restaurant boasting an open kitchen, private dining room and patio for seasonal outdoor dining.

Under the tutelage of Culinary Director Denise Baron, Executive Chef Tricia Personius will oversee the restaurant’s new menu which will consist of Burtons Grill signature items as well as some new creations.
