BHS Gala Benefit Concert featuring the New England Tenors and the BHS Chorus

The Burlington High School Music Boosters Association is proud to host its sixth annual "Gala Benefit Concert and Silent Auction" on Sunday afternoon, November 3rd, 2013, at 2 PM in the Fogelberg Performing Arts Center at Burlington High School.

This year's theme for the Gala will be "Favorite Songs From Around the World", including Italian, Irish, American, and French songs.  We are proud to feature the New England Tenors and Burlington High School's very own Chorus and Select Chorus. In addition, we will be showcasing Burlington High's brand new Steinway & Son's grand piano.

Burlington High School Performing Arts Director John Middleton-Cox leads the trio of the New England Tenors. He is joined by tenors Damien Corcoran and Jeffery Hartman. They are accompanied by pianist Wayne Ward, violinist Peter Stickel and BHS grad and current Berkley student Patrick Hanafin.

Intermission will offer a time to bid on silent auction items while enjoying tasty refreshments graciously provided by Shaws, Stop and Shop, Market Basket, Delicious Desserts, LaCascia’s, Burlington Marriott and Bedford Doubletree. Auction items include tickets to the Boston Celtics, I Love Lucy (Broadway in Boston), the Boston Pops, as well as BHS theatrical productions (Arsenic and Old Lace to be performed November 22-24 and Grease to be performed March 21-30), along with many gift baskets and gift cards for services and eateries in the Burlington area.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the programs of the Music Boosters and the Select Singers' trip to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York this upcoming year!

Please plan to join us Sunday November 3 at 2:00 p.m.
General admission tickets are $10 for students and senior citizens, and $15 for adults.  Tickets are available online at www.burlingtontheater.com, by phone at 781-A-FUN-TIC and at the door.  Fogelberg Performing Arts Auditorium is handicapped-accessible.
