Supermoon over Boston Light Lighthouse

Supermoon over Boston Light Lighthouse

We decided to go out and get a picture of the SuperMoon last night so we chartered a 45 foot boat to take Dan and Randy out to Little Brewster Island to catch the moon just after it crested the horizon.  There was considerable haze in the air and the seas were a bit choppy with 3-5' feet swells but we were not going to give in.  When the moon appeared on the horizon, you could barely see it because it was so dim but then it began to brighten as it got a bit higher in the sky.  Don, our Captain, got us lined up and jockeyed the engines with a deft touch to keep us on the mark so we could capture a great moment.
