Dancing with the Stars Finals Start for Aly Raisman

Competition heats up as a near-perfect performance lands Needham Olympian Raisman in the final four couples on ABC's dance contest.

After a near-perfect performance, Needham's star and Olympian Aly Raisman is going on to the Dancing With the Stars finals.

Raisman trained for the Olympics Gymnastics Team at the Brestyan’s American Gymnastics Club in Burlington. She won two gold medals and a bronze medal for the U.S. Women’s Olympics at the 2012 London Games.

Last week, Raisman and her partner Mark Ballas danced the rhumba, which garnered a perfect 30 from the judges. Their perfect score was followed by an Afro Jazz dance, which netted 29 out of 30 points.

That nearly-perfect performance tied for the top of last week's leaderboard. The duo with Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff also received 59 out of 60 possible points.

In last Tuesday's results show, two couples were at the bottom of the field: Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy, who scored 55 Monday night, and Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson Bruno, who finished the semifinals with the lowest score of 51.

Ultimately, Rademacher and Bruno were sent home by the judges.

Rounding out the final four couples are Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough, whose Flamenco and Argentine Tango earned them 58 points last week. The couples will face off in a Cha Cha relay and a Freestyle dance tonight.

For the finals, couples will also rely heavily on viewers voting for their favorite duos on the show. Phone and text voting close 60 minutes after the episode, while online voting at both ABC's website and the DWTS Facebook page remain open until 11 a.m. the following morning.

To vote for Aly in next week's episode, her voting call number is 800-868-3408 (or 800-VOTE4-08), or text the number 3408.

The "Dancing With the Stars" semi-finals air from 8 p.m. to 10:01 p.m. Monday night, with the DWTS Results Show airing tomorrow night from 9 to 10:01 p.m.
