Schedule for Burlington's Fourth of July Parade and Celebration

The Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club's Fourth of July Parade will kick-off at 10:30 a.m.


The The Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club is once again hosting Burlington's Fourth of July parade and celebration on the Town Commons. 

Members of the Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club are working on a bigger and better celebration of Independence Day for Burlington and its neighbors, the flyer for the event states. 

The parade steps off smartly at 10:30 a.m., Thursday the 4th of July, from the Burlington Car Wash / Presbyterian Church and proceeds to the Town Common via Cambridge Street (3A).

Parade participants and events include: 

• Burlington Police Department Honor Guard.

• Internationally renowned “Stuart Highlanders Pipe Band” and four additional marching bands.

• Burlington youth organizations.

• Floats with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

• Fay Fire Museum Engine 1 and other fire apparatus.

• Mounted Horse Units. 

• Free Pony and Train Rides on the Common.

• Antique Cars.

• Free Fun House and Inflatables.

• Food for purchase on the Common 

• Dog Show and “Open Competition” with Best in Show Trophy.

• Trophy for “Owner/Dog lookalike Contest.

• Music in the Gazebo.
