Last Wendesday Book Group

On Wednesday, October 30 from 7 to 8:30 pm the Last Wednesday book group will be meeting to discuss “The Language of Flowers” by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. In this book, a young woman emerges from foster care  with many difficulties, but with a love of “the language of flowers”.  The author calls her book a “meditation on redemption”, reflecting on the difficulties of child-rearing, and how even the most profoundly damaged might learn to forgive and be forgiven.  This guided discussion will be led by Barbara Parmet.
