Letter: Thank You for Successful Raffle Fundraiser

The following is a letter from People Helping People Inc.:

The Fundraising Committee, Board of Directors of People Helping People and Pantry Director Gayle Hobgood would like to thank Burlington residents and Managing Partner of the Capital Grille David Icken for his donation of the $1,000 Gift Certificate to Capital Grille that was used for our 2nd Annual Raffle with the winning ticket being drawn at Olde Town Liquors on October 6.     

We would also like to thank Deb and Doug Place owners of the Printing Place on Cambridge St. in Burlington for their donation of the printing of the raffle tickets. This is the second year in a row that both David Icken and Deb & Doug Place donated the Gift Certificate and Raffle Tickets.  Their generosity enabled us to once again raise the funds that will be used towards purchasing holiday dinners for the families of the Burlington Community Food Pantry in December. 

We would also like to thank the Toulopoulos Family, owners of Olde Town Liquors, and Dan DiTucci & family from Spencer Cleaners who opened their places of business for ticket sales.
