Burlington Food Pantry Seeks Volunteers

The Burlington Food Pantry needs your help.

Lend a hand and help support those in need in the community. The Burlington Food Pantry and People Helping People Inc. is looking for volunteer for regular part-time help. The following is a release:

Are you a stay at home Mom or Dad or perhaps recently retired and looking to make a contribution to the community of Burlington.  The Burlington Community Food Pantry is looking for some specific roles to fill that will not take up much of your time!

Delivery Person – Delivery groceries to pantry clients at their homes.  You must be able to lift heavy bags of groceries and walk up steps.  This need is one Wednesday a month from 12 – 1 p.m.

Helpers to Carry Food to Car

You will be responsible to push carts out to the client’s cars and help load the bags into their cars.  Second & Fourth Wednesday of the Month from 3-5 p.m.

You must be committed to work in rain, snow, sleet, and heat.
