Bring Non-Perishables to the Polls for Burlington Food Pantry

Volunteers with People Helping People will be collecting non-perishable food stuffs and basic items during the town election on April 14 at the High School.

The following is a release from People Helping People, Inc.:

People Helping People will be holding a drive to support The Burlington Community Food Pantry at the Town Election on Saturday, April 14 at .  Specific needs this year are Toothbrushes, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables and Peanut Butter.  Members of People Helping People will be on hand all day to collect these items.  Financial Donations are always welcome as well.

The supports an average of 300 people each month.  Over 100,000 pounds of food are distributed annually through the Pantry.

Please don’t forget to vote on the 14th and bring a donation to help those in need. Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
