Scholarships for Burlington High School Seniors

Burlington Scholarship  Program

The following scholarships are available for High School Seniors that reside in Burlington.  Copies of applications may be picked up at the Burlington High School Guidance Office.  Please call 781-270-1827 for more information.

Burlington Community Scholarships: This application places the students name for over 40 local scholarships Application must be completed at bcsfds.dollarsforscholars.org.  Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 15, 2014.

 Adopt-A-Class – 2014 Brickpoint Properties: This scholarship is based on completion of adopt-a-class sponsored events. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: Friday April 1, 2014.

Burlington Garden Club: The successful applicant must be a Burlington resident and a high school senior who has been accepted at an institute of higher learning and intends to pursue the study of some phase of Environmental Science, Botany, Forestry, Natural Resources, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture or the Arts and Sciences as related to the natural environment. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 11, 2014.

Burlington Hockey and Skating Scholarship: Qualified applicants must be a resident of Burlington, a graduating high school senior and will be attending a college, university or technical school accredited by the appropriate State Board of Education. Applicant must have been a participant in the Burlington Hockey & Skating Program. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. March 28, 2014.

Burlington Knights of Columbus: Any graduating senior may apply.  Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 4, 2014.

Burlington Players/Winnmere Theatre: The Burlington Players/Winnmere Family Theater is given in memory of Sandy Pirnie in the amount of $500.00. Eligibility: Any graduating senior who has been accepted by an advanced school, college, etc.; who has participated in and demonstrated dedication to the performing arts: and who is pursuing higher education in the performing arts with a concentration in acting, directing, dance, technical production, music or theater education. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 25, 2014. 

Burlington Pop Warner: Scholarships to former BPW football players and to former BPW cheerleaders. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 1, 2014. 

Burlington Youth Lacrosse: Qualified applicants must be a resident of Burlington, a graduating high school senior and will be attending a two or four college, university or technical. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 4, 2014.

John J. & Helen Ferren Memorial Scholarships: Applicant must be a Burlington resident and a high school senior accepted to an institute of higher learning. The applicant’s family member must have been a participant in the John J. Ferren Memorial Annual Golf Tournament. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 4,2014.

Burlington Youth Soccer: To qualify, the applicant must have been an active participant in the Burlington Youth Soccer Association , as a player, for at least two years (four seasons). Volunteer service to B.Y.S.A., academic standing, and extra-curricular activities will be additional criteria for selection. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 4, 2014.

The CJK Randall Family Scholarship: The CJK Randall Scholarship will be awarded to a student who has demonstrated personal initiative and consistent academic growth. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 4, 2014.

Burlington Lions Club: Any graduating senior may apply. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 5,  2014.

The Rotary Club of Burlington Scholarships: The Rotary Club of Burlington Inc. will award scholarships Burlington residents.  Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 5, 2014.

Burlington Baseball and Softball Association:  This scholarship is based on years of participation in the Burlington/Baseball Softball Association. Must be a Burlington Resident and a high school senior. Deadline: April 4, 2014.
