Community Corner

People Helping People 3rd Annual Capital Grille Raffle

Burlington’s People Helping People is a non-profit organization.  Under the umbrella of PHP is the Burlington Food Pantry, the Covenant for Basic Needs and the Holiday Wish Tree.  Over 100,000 pounds of food will be distributed in 2013 to families of the Burlington Community Food Pantry.

There are many people in need in the Town of Burlington.  It could be a neighbor, someone sitting next to you at Church or perhaps at a school event.   In addition to receiving their monthly food distribution in December we would like to once again provide these families with resources to enjoy a holiday dinner with their family.

This is difficult to do without fundraisers such as the Capital Grille Raffle.  People Helping People is holding their Third Annual Capital Grille Raffle for a chance to win a $1,000 gift certificate to the Capital Grille in Burlington (certain conditions apply). The prize, which covers dinner for six, including wine, was donated by the Capital Grille at 10 Wayside Road in Burlington
