Interact Students Sock Drive for Bedford VA

The Rotary Club of Burlington High School Interact Club will be holding a “White Tube Sock Drive” to support Veterans of the Bedford V.A. throughout the month of December.

While most people take a pair socks for granted, Veterans throughout the United States do not.  The veterans use the socks to keep their feet warm and for those who have sores or wounds, the socks protect their feet.  A new pair of socks can save a veteran from serious foot problems. The drop off boxes will be at the Burlington Town Hall and Burlington High School.  The students are asking that only “White Tub Socks” be donated as that is what the Veterans are in need of.
