Brogen Received Photographic Excellence Degree

Local professional photographer and studio owner Randy Brogen was recently awarded his “Photographic Excellence Degree” by the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts (PPAM).  This degree is awarded in recognition for photographic excellence achieved by Randy during image competitions.  During these competitions, images are judged by a panel of Master Photographers and scored on the industry standard 12-element system and assigned a merit value based on the final score.  A person must accumulate a total of 50 merits to be eligible for their Photographic Excellence Degree, which takes several years.

Randy is one of only 43 Certified Professional Photographers in the state of Massachusetts.  He is also the President of the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts and on the Board of Directors of the Professional Photographers Association of New England (PPANE).  Additionally, Randy is on the National Council for PPA, which is the legislative body of Professional Photographers of America, representing over 25,000 members in 53 countries, territories, and provinces.  Randy is also one of only 4 Certified Professional Photographer Liaisons in Massachusetts and helps other photographers through the process of achieving their CPP certification.
