Start Your Weekend with a Foam Sword Adventure, Comedy Night

Five things to know today.

Today is Friday, September 27. Here are five things to know: 

1) Partly sunny skies 

Looks like a pretty nice day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect partly sunny skies with a high near 68 degrees. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 47. 

2) Duct tape bow tie 

The Burlington Public Library is holding a fun event featuring duct tape for children in grades 6-12 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today. Stop by and make a tie or bow tie out of duct tape. Snacks will also be served. 

3) Story time 

The library is also holding a Baby Storytime at 11 a.m. for children aged birth to 18 months. Delight and stimulate your baby's senses with books, songs and puppets. 

4) Foam sword adventures 

Guard Up! Family NERF and Swordsmanship is holding a foam sword adventure night starting at 7 p.m. Click here for more details

5) Comedy night

The Crestview in neighboring Woburn is holding a comedy night today starting at 6 p.m. Comedians Kenny Rogerson & Mark Scalia supply the laughs and the Crestivew will supply the great food. There will be a buffet for those interested. Click here for the details
