Renovation Work Continues at Roche Brother Plaza

Today is Friday, September 13. Here are five things to know: 

1) Rainy 

Looks like a gray day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect showers in the morning, mainly before 10 a.m. Otherwise mostly cloudy with a high near 74. Partly cloudy tonight with a low around 51. 

2) Roche Brothers plaza

Renovation work continues at the shopping plaza at 34 Cambridge Street. Even though many of the storefronts are under work and the signs are down most of the businesses are still open. The Gamestop, however, is closed. 

3) Member Appreciation Spar-B-Q

Guard Up! is holding a Member Appreciation Spar-B-Q at 7 p.m. tonight. This is a pot luck so bring your favorite dishes and they will provide the paper goods and clean up the mess. 

4) New Display at the Burlington Public Library

Visit the Library and Check out "An Ode to Cycling," a new display at the Burlington Public Library featuring films and books about bicycling, created by talented volunteer Katie Marchese.
