1) Sunny and warm
Looks like yet another nice day today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect sunny skies with a comfortable temperature near 78 degrees. Mostly clear tonight with a low around 54.
2) Public meetings
The Burlington Disability Access Commission is meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the Human Services Building, Recreation Dept. Meeting Room.
3) Sukkot Service and Party
Temple Shalom Emeth is holding a Sukkot Service and Party starting at 5:45 p.m. There will be pizza for $3 per person/$10 family max followed by a Sukkot service starting at 6:30 p.m. Click here for more details.
4) NERF Night
Guard Up! Family Swordsmanship and NERF is holding a NERF event, "Time Travel Tournament" on Friday. Participants will fight another team for victory and the backdrop for this NERF Battle will be determined by a time travel device.
5) Dr. Who fans
The Burlington Public Library is hosting a Dr. Who fan club from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. today. The club will do a variety of kinds of Dr. Who activities. They will watch episodes, do Dr. Who crafts, discuss the show, and get geared up for the big 50 Anniversary Special in November.
