Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Tuesday, February 5, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Alumni Conference Room, 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA.
Living with COPD is a team effort. Those with COPD, their care-givers and family are encouraged to attend a free series of meetings concerning the challenges of living with COPD. Topics covered will include best practices for managing symptoms, support for care-givers and how families may approach COPD together.
Lisa Catalao, LICSW, at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center will lead this event. A physician from the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine will also be present to answer questions. Each session is free and open to the public. A parking discount wil be provided.

More About Lahey Clinic
The Lahey Clinic is Peabody's largest health-care facility and provides multifaceted medicine to its patients. The clinic, located next to the North Shore Shopping Center, is staffed with up to 450 physicians and more than 4,000 nurses, therapists and other support staff. The Peabody clinic also serves more than 800 outpatients daily and includes a 10-bed hospital. There's a 24-hour emergency department, an on-site pharmacy, labs, and respiratory, anesthesiology, and radiology departments. The recent 65,000-square-foot addition brought with it additional spine, pain and sleep disorder centers.
