The Liberty Alzheimer Partnership of Greater Concord is pleased to present Jazz pianist and Acton physician, Elliot Steger and his Jazz Trio in the 10th annual concert to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.  In celebration, the LAP will present a Gala evening at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington  on Friday November 16th.  The Gala, called “The Color of the Night is Purple,” will begin with a festive reception featuring a complimentary wine bar and a silent auction, followed by Dr. Steger and his acclaimed Jazz Trio.

The Liberty Alzheimer’s Partnership is comprised of community members and professionals. The organization works in alliance with the Alzheimer’s Association to provide education, outreach, advocacy and support for people with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

RiverCourt Residences in Groton will be the presenting sponsor of the event: “We are pleased to sponsor the 10th annual benefit concert with the Liberty Alzheimer’s Partnership in this, our own 10th anniversary year,” said Maura Ferrigno, Executive Director.  RiverCourt is an independent and assisted living facility with a special memory support unit.  “We fully support the Partnership in their goal to bring services, support and hope to the families that are impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and related memory disorders”.

Last year’s event raised $15,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association Care Consultation Program, an in-depth, personalized service, provided in person or over the phone, for individuals and families who are facing many decisions and challenges associated with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a reception featuring appetizers and dessert and a complimentary wine bar followed by the concert at 7:30p.m. Tickets are $30.00.  To purchase tickets online visit www.mktix.com/lap, or contact Nancy Crowley at 978-402-0088 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting.     A limited number of tickets are also available at the door.  The Museum is located at 33 Marrett Road, Lexington.  For directions  visit www.nationalheritagemuseum.org.end_of_the_skype_highlighting
