Why go: Support the Burlington Education Foundation that is once again hosting its annual Trivia Night. Since the theme of music was such a “big hit” last year, they decided to do it again. Cash bar provided. Prizes for winning team, best costume, and best “spread.”

Why go: The church will be showing a Christmas related Veggie Tales movie, The Little Drummer Boy. In addition to the movie, they will have a meal as well as crafts and activities and balloon animals for the children, as always. Come join in the fun.

Where/when: Francis Wyman Elementary School, 41 Terrace Hall Ave,; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why go: Francis Wyman Elementary School is hosting its 10th Annual Family Carnival, a fun elementary school carnival for Burlington kids and their families featuring carnival games, prizes and raffles. Held indoors (rain or shine). This is a fundraiser presented by the school's PTO. Visit http://www.franciswymancarnival.org/ for more info.
Pricing: Entry is free and game tickets are 3 for $1; Food tickets are 2 for $1. Kids can play carnival games between 10am-1pm to earn stamps they redeem for prizes.
5. HAITIAN JEWELRY EXTRAVAGANZA
Where/when: Boston Marriott Burlington, 1 Mall Road; Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
Why go: Join the Sister4Haiti, three women who in 2010 started an organization to benefit Haiti following the tragic earthquake, at the Burlington Marriott for a day of shopping Haitian art. Unique jewelry, handbags and other trendy accessories. Most of the creative designs will include a short bio of the artist's personal story. Proceeds will go back to each individual artist.
