Why go: Burlington High School presents Cole Porter's award-winning musical comedy, Kiss Me, Kate, a lively and raucous musical within a musical that is based on Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Filled with musical gems including "Too Darn Hot," "So In Love," "From This Moment On," "Wunderbar," and "Brush Up Your Shakespeare."

2. MOM AUTHOR SPEAKING EVENT

Where/when: Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 98 Middlesex Tpke; Friday at 7 p.m.

Why go: Local Gloucester mom of three Dana Rousmaniere, author of "North Shore Baby: A Field Guide for Parents North of Boston" will share some of the information she learned while writing. While writing North Shore Baby, Rousmaniere went to the experts: local moms. The result is the book that Rousmaniere wishes she had on hand during those first months as a new mother

3. WINE TASTING

Where/when: Busa Wine & Spirits, 180 Cambridge St.; Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.

Why go: Come in and try the very popular Apothic Red and Apothic White. Priced at only $9.99 taking home a couple of bottles won’t put a ding in your wallet. Wine is described as "revealing intense fruit aromas and flavors of blackberry and dark cherry layered with hints of mocha, chocolate and brown spice."

4. EASTER CELEBRATION WITH THE EASTER BUNNY

Where/when: The Burlington Mall, 75 Middlesex Turnpike; Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why go: Burlington Mall will host an Easter Celebration with the
Easter Bunny himself. Local kids will have a chance to participate in a variety
of Easter activities including, Easter Egg Decorating, Coloring Activities,
Easter Tattoos and more! Kids will also have a chance to meet the Easter Bunny
and have their picture taken.

Why go: Winner for Producer's Pick at the New England Fringe Festival, and the "Top Seller" at the Seacoast Fringe Festival, Left & Right, is an interactive comedy about conjoined twins on the search for love.
