This Frugal Family column is dedicated to giving you five great local deals each week that will help your family’s bottom line, and since we do the scouting for you, you can save time as well as money.

This week we have free candy corns at CVS through today (hurry down!), Fresh scallops special at Roche Bros. this Friday only, and lots of BOGO's at Roche Brothers. Don't miss this week's Money Saving Deals!

1) CVS

Deal:  Candy corns are 99¢ with an extrabucks of 99¢, making this a free deal!* Mars or Wrigley's fun size bags are 4/$10 with an extrabucks of $4 - that's like getting them 4/$6.  DayQuil and NyQuil are $2/12 with a $3 extrabucks - making this a 2/$9 deal. Keebler cookies and CHEEZ-IT's are 2/$4 - both offer $1 coupons in the Globe. Arm & Hammer laundry detergent is a  BOGO, Aquafresh or Sensodyne Iso-active is $4.89 with an extrabucks of $2 and a Globe coupon of $1 = $1.89. Crest Pro-Health is $3.99 with an extrabucks of $1.25 and a Globe coupon of $1.00, making this a 99¢ buy.  DIGIORNO pizza is a BOGO (approx. $7.50 per box) a great deal for pizza night! Grab an Arizona beverage, also a BOGO, and the kids will feel spoiled midweek!  Fall allergies?  Zyrtec is on sale for $18.99 for a 30ct. - grab the Globe $4 coupon and you're getting more for less!

2)  MICHAELS

Deal:  Pretty cool craft pumpkins in orange, black or white are 50% off.  Halloween decor and handcrafted floral arrangements are 40% off, as are beads and pendants.  Elegance collection in platinum, rose gold, sterling or gold is 2/$5 (regularly $3.99).  If you're a stamper, buy rubber stamps, embellishments and stickers, cutting machines and scrapbooking trimmers for 40% off the regular price.

3)  MARKET BASKET

Deal:  Save $1 on Lundberg gluten free risotto, priced at 2/$4. Save $3.80 on a 15pk of Bounty paper towels at $10.99. Crystal Geyser 35pk is selling for $3.99, as is 40oz. jar of Jif peanut butter. If you enjoy a strong cheese, try Hoffman super sharp cheese, $2.99 (savings of $2); great for  grilled cheese sandwiches! Ocean Spray Cranberry Cocktail is 2/$4 (savings of $1.90). MB cheese ravioli is 2/$5 (78¢ savings) and New York Pizza Sticks are 2/$4 ($1.38 savings). Boil the ravioli, heat up the pizza sticks and add Bertolli pasta sauce (2/$4; savings of $1), and you've got yourself a midweek meal.  For dessert, pick up a fresh pineapple on sale for $2.79 (savings of a $1).  Trident gum is on sale for 69¢ (savings of 30¢) with a Globe coupon of a $1 off 3 = 35¢ a pack!  Now that's a deal!

4) ROCHE BROTHERS

Deal:  Boneless chicken breast is $1.99/lb.  Green beans and broccoli crowns are 99¢. It's a great BOGO week:  Arnold whole grain breads, Francesco Rinaldi pasta sauce, California Pizza Kitchen, Arm & Hammer laundry detergent, Jennie-O ground turkey, fresh washed spinach, Perdue chicken nuggets, Domestix culinary creations bake ware, No Yolks Noodles, Bumble Bee tuna, Hood country creams and much more!  This Friday only, fresh natural sea scallops are $12.99/lb (savings of $6) P.S. Tuesdays are double coupon days.

5) SHAW'S

Purchase any two Kellogg's Special K protein meal bars or shakes and receive $4 off Centrum Silver Dietary Supplements.
