Steve Capano is the heart and soul of Tectrix.info. He is the creator of this promotional-marketing business. His upbeat personality shines through to everything he does. Capano can take a Facebook account embellishing it to look more like an eye catching website for the business than the typical page. His unique ideas are used to promote and grow small businesses.

Capano did wonders for a salon prom business by having them get clients to book early for prom hair styling appointments. He creates links to business websites from their Facebook pages bringing hits onto their sites. Capano has streamlined postcard marketing by letting the post office do the work. He designs the cards and the post office will do the rest. It’s a time saver. He has created seed packets to advertise flower shops. The seeds are embedded into paper strips with planting instructions and the name of the florist printed on them. A consumer is not likely to forget the name of the florist after getting one of these packets.

Capano had worked on a marketing project for Hood milk at one time. They were giving out milk samples and he suggested – cookies. It was a big hit because of course milk and cookies go together and one's not likely to forget the name of the milk company when a good cookie goes along with it.

“This house is virus free”, he said, referring to his home. He had just come back from Connecticut where he worked on seven computers making them virus free as well.

Burlington is where Capano grew up and he attended Burlington High School before going to Austin prep. He presently makes his home in Burlington with his wife and seven-year-old daughter.

“I’ve always been a computer geek and into soccer,” says Capano. “I even clean them, making them shine”.

When Capano was 21, he had his own clothing store business which he sold in 1995. After that he worked for Structure, a men’s clothing store, traveling to open many stores. He worked for a large marketing company doing 5,000 marketing projects in eight years. Capano’s vast experience in marketing and retail gives him the knowledge and ability to have his own business. Since 2009,Tectrix.info has been helping small businesses. Coventry Farmers Market, one of his clients, has profited from Capano’s help. They are one the top five farmers markets in New England. Capano did the Facebook page for the Chamber of Commerce with their calendar inserted on the main page making it easy to find Chamber events.

Besides his marketing and website work, Capano teaches a class at Lexington High School Adult Education called, “Facebook for Profit”.

People Helping People of Burlington has benefited from Capano’s work. He designed their Facebook page giving them an online presence. He did this work as a charitable donation.

YouTube is a popular medium with many clever people that create funny and informative videos. It’s a less expensive way to make a video ad or informational piece. Capano has capitalized on this method. He explains that a TV ad can be very expensive but a YouTube video is less than half the cost. Capano has created You Tube ads for Chapel Hill Floral, Given Erwin Florist, Complete Dental Care and Fashion Way Hair Designs, which Capano owns.
