Road to a Repeat Continues Monday in Lowell

The Burlington High School boys hockey team plays Winchester Monday at 8 p.m. with a berth in the state title game on the line.

The Garden is within sight. There's just one thing in the way.

Burlington High School is set for a showdown against Middlesex League foe Winchester on Monday night in the North Division 1 title game.

Puck drops at 8 p.m. on the ice of Lowell's Tsongas Center, and the winner moves on to play for the Division 1 state championship on Sunday, March 17, at TD Garden.

Defending champion Burlington struggled early in the season, but has come on late. After earning the No. 5 seed in the bracket, the Red Devils snuck past Woburn, 4-2, and blanked Melrose 3-0 in the semifinal round.

The Red Devils cruised during their only meeting of the year with Winchester. Burlington skated to a 3-0 victory on January 19.

My apologies that I didn't see your question until it was too late. Just figured I would give you a heads up that in case you need it, we will provide live updates on Sunday from the championship game just like we did on Monday.
