Release: Burlington Breakfast Rotary Gears Up for July 4th, Seeking Community Support
The Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club is asking for $5 to support the 4th of July festivities
The following is a release from the Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club:
Burlington Community Support for the 4th of July Parade.
Memorial Day is behind us and the Fourth of July will be here before you know it. The Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club (BBRC) is deep into planning the parade and events for all residents – big and small - on the commons. The reaction from the hundreds of attendees last year was overwhelming.
The committee has already enlisted marching bands from the U.S. Air Force and from the Baltimore City Police. They are lining up several of the local youth and civic organizations to round out the participation as well as several floats. If any of the other local youth and civic organizations reading this would like to be part of the parade or festivities on the common, please let the chairman of the parade know.
Community support as important as ever
This year the “2011 Fourth of July Parade” Committee needs the support of the residents of Burlington to continue this Independence Day tradition by contributing $5 for the 4th! With your support, we will make the 2011 parade even better!
Last year, thanks to the generosity of Burlington community, the parade committee was able to offer free activities including a bouncy house and slide for the kids, pony rides, ice cream, cotton candy, slush, water, and popcorn for all. In addition, the now famous Dog Show will again be held.
Donations are tax deductible and should be made payable to: “Burlington Breakfast Rotary Club” and mailed to: BBRC Treasurer Ed Flanagan, c/o Flanagan Insurance, 1 Mountain Road, Burlington, MA 01803.
For additional information, contact Parade Chair Kevin McKelvey - 781 273-5857 - or Club President Ray Graber at firstname.lastname@example.org or 781-221-0018.
Thank you for your consideration.
