Raytheon to Work on Patriot Missile

The Burlington Raytheon Facility will be working on engineering for the Patriot Missile.

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems was awarded a $138 million contract for engeineering services to support the Patriot Air and Missile Defense System, according to govconwire.com.

The Burlington facility, at 16 New England Executive Park, will be doing a portion of the work on the US Army contract involving the Patriot (Phased Array Tracking Radar Intercept On Target) Missile. 

The Defense Department reports that the work is expected to be completed by January 31, 2013. Work is also being done in Andover, Billerica and Tewksbury.
