Burlington Police said they are still searching the Burlington Mall area tonight for a suspect after the Bank of America branch at the Mall was robbed tonight.

Patch editor Richard Hosford is on-the-scene and says there are still police cars outside, but everything appears to be quiet.

Burlington police tweeted a description of the suspect as a white male in gray sweatpants, a blue shirt and a hoodie, who might still be in area. 

Earlier this evening a helipcopter had been circling overhead, but the sky is now quiet.

A Bank of America employee said no one was hurt in the robbery.

advising motorists to steer clear of the Mall Road and Middlesex Turnpike.
