New England Patriots Danny Woodhead is set to release his first-ever children’s book “Danny Woodhead: A Football Dream Come True” today at 5:30 p.m. at PINZ in Milford, Massachusetts.

Joining Woodhead will be Author Jon Goode (Natick, Mass./Merrimack College) and Illustrator Rachel Gregorio (Burlington, Mass./Boston College). This is their third children’s book together previously writing and illustrating “Pitching with the Papelbons” and “Basketball with Big Baby.

The book portrays Woodhead as a youth playing football. The book is intended to send positive messages to kids while raising money for the C2 Mission, which benefits children and families affected by Cerebral Palsy and Cystic Fibrosis.

“Every time someone tells you that you can’t reach any of your dreams in life I want you to tell them you can and never stop believing in yourself,” Woodhead tells kids in the book.

Woodhead will be signing books for fans after a media session and will then read the book to the kids in attendance.

Books are available for sale on-line at www.woodheadfootballdream.com for $14.95, with proceeds benefiting the C2 Mission.
