The following is a letter to the editor from Burlington Boy Scout Troop 511

On behalf of the members of Burlington Boy Scout Troop 511, we wish to publicly thank all those who helped to make our hot dog and hamburger stand during Truck Day successful. The proceeds of the sales during this event are a significant portion of our yearly income. We also specifically wish to thank former Selectman Al Fay, without whom this event would not exist and whose efforts to raise help and donations make Truck Day so successful. It is community support like this that allows Troop 511 to exist as a resource to our youth.
