UPDATED: Woman Stabbed to Death in Burlington
Authorities now are identifying the woman who was stabbed to death Thursday evening.
Updated 11:28 p.m.: Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent told Patch tonight that the situation is "liquid" and police are still investigating and working the scene. At this time Kent said he could not confirm the identity of the suspect.
Fox 25 Boston is reporting that police are looking for Pulisciano’s husband, Christopher Piantedosi. According to Fox's report, police believe Piantedosi may be in the Leominster area and is believed to be armed with a knife and possibly suicidal. Burlington Patch has not confirmed the couple was married and police have not definitely stated to Patch that Piantedosi is the suspect.

Updated, 9:56 p.m.: Authorities confirm that a woman was fatally stabbed Thursday night on Forbes Avenue.
According to Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone and Burlington Police Chief Michael Kent, Kristen Pulisciano, 38, of 23 Forbes Ave. was stabbed and killed Thursday night.
Police responded to the home at 6:45 p.m. for a report of a stabbing.
Authorities believe the attack was not "random," but "the investigation remains active and ongoing."
Updated 8:24 p.m.: The stabbing incident occurred at 23 Forbes Ave. where neighbors and online records say Christopher Piantedosi lived a woman and two children.
According to a scanner report, area police are searching for a brown 2010 Honda Civic that may be heading towards Methuen.
Police have not given an official statement yet. They are working the crime scene and taking photos. There is a media presence and neighbors have gathered.
According to CBS Boston, the Middlesex District Attorney's office confirms it is investigating a suspicious death on Forbes Avenue.
Initial Post, 7:27 p.m.: There are reports from scanners and Twitter of a stabbing in Burlington, reported around 6:30 p.m.
According to one report, there has been a stabbing on Forbes Avenue with a possible fatality.
Burlington Police were unable to provide details at this time.
