I am very disappointed in these test results. Whe you consider that Burlington is at the top of the scale in teacher salaries and and spending per student for Massachusetts we should, as a community expect top notch results. I would hope that not only the school committee but also parents demand better from the currant administration. Perhaps we are spending too much time catering to technology advancements and ignoring the basics.

Sadly, I must agree with Mr. Killilea. The Math and Science scores are particularly appalling. This just goes to show that iPads don't teach anything. Teachers do. We need to get back to basics as the writer above suggests.
